New Patients
Your first appointment at Stalheim Chiropractic is typically 45 to 60 minutes. It includes a consultation about your health history and goals, a spinal evaluation, computerized nerve scans to see how your spine and nervous system are functioning, and on-site X-rays if needed.
At the end of your initial visit, you'll usually receive your first adjustment so you can take a positive step toward feeling better right away. Your second visit will include a detailed report of exam findings, your recommended care plan, the number of visits that may be needed, and clear information about costs.

QualificationsDr. Stalheim is the owner of Stalheim Chiropractic, serving Marinette, Menominee, and surrounding areas. He has been in full-time practice since 1996—over 30 years of clinical experience. He works with patients of all ages, focusing on identifying the underlying cause of pain rather than simply treating symptoms. He was inspired to become a chiropractor after being a chiropractic success story as a patient at a young age.
Dr. Stalheim's approach centers on correcting the root cause of each patient's condition through chiropractic care combined with home therapy recommendations, while educating patients on the broader benefits of chiropractic for whole-body wellness and family health.

His own experience with chiropractic care as a child inspired his decision to pursue the profession, and he has built his practice around helping patients achieve lasting health and wellness rather than just short-term relief.
Dr. Kickhaver's philosophy emphasizes prevention alongside pain relief; he focuses on addressing the underlying causes of a patient's condition and equips patients with current, practical information to get the most benefit from their care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kickhaver spends much of his time having fun with his family and friends. A lover of the outdoors, he spends time hunting, snowboarding, fishing, hiking and camping.

Care begins with identifying where the spine has lost proper alignment or movement, since these mechanical issues often drive recurring symptoms. Adjustments draw on a variety of techniques such as Activator Methods®, Diversified, Gonstead, and gentle drop-piece methods, tailored to each patient. Most new patients start with two visits per week for four to six weeks before reassessment with functional tests and nerve scans. Every care plan is custom tailored for each individual.

Those scans are sent off to build your insoles, which typically arrive within about three business days. A follow-up appointment checks the fit and covers the break-in period and care instructions.
