What to Expect During Your First Visit
Your initial appointment typically lasts 45 minutes to one hour. We take our time so we can gather the information needed to provide the most appropriate care. After completing an intake form, you will meet with Dr. Stalheim or Dr. Kickhaver for an evaluation. This includes a spinal assessment, computerized nerve scans, and any necessary on-site X-rays to help identify the root cause of your discomfort. We discuss your health history, listen to your concerns, and explain what we find and why it matters. Typically, you will also receive your first adjustment that same day, so you leave feeling informed and encouraged.
Your Personalized Care Plan
During your second visit, we will sit down with you for a report of findings. We review your evaluation results, explain what is happening with your spine and nervous system, and outline a care plan designed around your goals and lifestyle. Our approach is never cookie-cutter—every plan is tailored to you and getting you back to the activities you want to enjoy again.
Easy Scheduling and Insurance Coordination
We know that when you are in discomfort, waiting for an appointment is not an option. That is why we reserve new-patient time slots each day of the week, making same-day or next-day appointments available in most cases. We are in-network with most local insurance plans, accept Medicare and Medicaid in Wisconsin and Michigan, and work with auto and workers’ compensation carriers.
